Lahore School of Animation (LSA) is the 1st School of Animation in the Pakistan . It is founded by a group of enthusiasts already working in the field of animation and believes that we have great potential and talent which only needs proper training in a totally professional way.
There is a lack of training institutes in Pakistan hence realizing the need we have planned LSA.
It is a highly advanced professional training school dedicated to providing quality, career-focused training to prepare students with the knowledge, skills, and credentials needed to launch, enhance, or change careers. It would fulfill the animation and graphic design needs in the digital world.

Institutional Purpose:
To learn professional approaches to concepts and principles of all aspects of Digital Production and Multimedia Design, thereby combining creativity and technical skills with innovations that challenge the digital divide of interactive communication.
OBJECTIVES:
In order to fulfill its mission, the School strives to meet the following purposes:
- Collaborate with industry advisory committees, placement contacts, and faculty to develop and maintain industry-relevant programs that are designed to enhance each student's employment potential, teach teamwork, and build skills that promote life-long learning.
- Provide opportunities for applied learning, which when integrated with theory help students to become successful in their chosen career field. Utilize computers and other technologies when appropriate to prepare graduates to apply their skills and knowledge in the workplace. As needed, offer internships and externships designed to provide students with additional "real world" experience.
- Incorporate a general education curriculum that allows students to gain the analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills necessary for life-long career success.
- Select faculty with a combination of academic qualifications, teaching credentials, and real life, industry-relevant experience. Conduct ongoing comprehensive evaluations of faculty performance and provide faculty with appropriate professional development opportunities to promote teaching excellence.
- Implement an institutional assessment and evaluation program designed to promote continuous improvement and to document students' learning, faculty performance, and the effectiveness of the institution.

Certification:
All the programs of LSA are have the certification from HUNERKADA. - Academy of Visual & Performing Arts. HUNERKADA is a prominent institute in the field of art education. It has its branches in Lahore & Islamabad . Jamal Shah, a well-known artist of Pakistan , directs it.
Animation is a technology and art is a way of transforming thoughts into forms that are expressive and impressive as well. So animation cannot go alone without art.
Free short-term internships will be offered to promising students of animation at Post Amazer-Karachi. Paid internships will be available to deserving students. Upon completion of internship, competent internees may be placed for a job at Post Amazer.
Teaching Methodology:
All the courses are divided into two main parts; 1)visual development and 2) technical development. Visual development is an essential part of all the courses. It will enables you to "see" and "think" visually. It will train your aesthetics and enhanse your visual understanding artistically. You will learn concept development, visual problem solving, validity of ideas and their execution.
In technical development, you will learn how to transform your ideas to a virtual reality. You will be introduced to the softwares that you need transform your ideas. You will learn if your ideas are technically possible or not. You will learn to work in real time environment working individually and as a team as well.
At the end of each program you will have to do a final project. It will be an individual live project and you will have the assistance of concerned teacher/advisor. The project will b analysed by our advisroy committee (mentioned ahead) of professional from the relevant fields.
Computer Lab:
Tools have a great importance while working in a creative field. Without a proper tool one can not transfrom his imagination into a visual form. And as far as animations is concerned, we are well aware of this problem. That's why LSA is equiped with the latest computers and personal edting system and interactive system of teaching to provide students an edge to work and learn quickly.
Higly skilled staff, having command on the lates animation and digital media tools, is available to guide the students throuhout the course.
